Who handles your data?

Mira-Tex Oy (Finnish Business ID 0141277-9) operates the EXTUS store and is responsible for its customer records. For a privacy question or a request about your data, write to exitus@mira.fi or Mira-Tex Oy, Tuulentie 8, 21420 Lieto, Finland.

Orders, accounts and customer service

We use your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered, payment status and any delivery instructions to take payment, deliver your order and handle returns. We receive order and payment confirmations from the checkout provider. These details are needed to fulfil our contract with you. Without the information needed for payment and delivery, we cannot complete the order.

You can check out as a guest. If you choose to create an account, we keep your account details and order history so you can sign in and manage your purchases. When you contact us, we use the details you provide to answer your question or resolve a problem. We handle order enquiries as part of the sale and other enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you.

Payments and service providers

Kustom supplies the checkout. Kustom and the payment provider you choose process information under their own privacy notices. For details about identification, payment eligibility and any checks made by these providers, see the Kustom Checkout Privacy Notice.

We share the information needed for each task with the carrier, our hosting and email providers, and providers supporting tax calculation and accounting. We keep invoices and transaction records to meet Finnish accounting and tax obligations.

Cookies, site activity and reviews

The store uses cookies to remember your basket and, if you sign in, your login session. Your browser can remove or block cookies. Blocking store-session cookies may prevent the basket or checkout from working. WooCommerce’s order attribution feature can record the referring site, campaign, session and device type associated with a purchase so we can understand how customers find the shop. Where consent is required for optional cookies, you may withdraw it at any time.

We use technical data, including IP addresses and browser information, to keep the store secure and investigate misuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting customers and the shop. Some pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google the technical information needed to deliver those files. See Google Fonts and privacy.

If you submit a product review, the name you supply, your rating and your review may appear on the product page. Your email address is used to administer the review. Contact us if you want to update or remove a review.

Storage and international transfers

We keep order details for delivery, returns and any related claims. Finnish accounting rules generally require us to retain receipts and vouchers for at least six years from the end of the calendar year in which the financial year ended. We keep account data while your account is active and correspondence while it is needed to handle the enquiry or a related claim.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer requires safeguards, the applicable basis must be an adequacy decision or another lawful transfer safeguard, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask exitus@mira.fi which safeguards apply to your data and request a copy.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your data and, where the legal conditions apply, request erasure, restriction or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal applies to future use of the data. Records subject to a legal retention obligation must be kept for the applicable period.

Send your request to exitus@mira.fi. We may ask for enough information to identify you. You may also complain to your local data protection authority or to Finland’s Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
